When you are expecting a baby for the first time, there are so many things you feel you need to buy. Being someone who likes to build and create my own things, I had a real difficult time, just going out and buying everything. One thing is, that in the beginning, your baby grows so fast, that clothes and such, are used for a very small period of time. Which is, in my opinion, a waste. So I decided to buy second hand for the most part and I also tried to find sewing patterns for clothing that can be used over a longer period of time.
One of these patterns is these very cute and easy to sew pants. They are foldable both in the waist and on the legs, which is very practically.
The pattern is from Sew 4 Bub and can be found here:
I am very blessed with a mother-in-law, who is very talented when is comes to knitting. She knitted this little sweater in some cute colors not knowing that I had been sewing the harem pants. When she gave me the finished sweater I was happily surprised to see it was matching so well with the pants. You would think that we had coordinated on the color scheme 🙂
The recipe for the sweater can be found here. (it’s in danish)
I just love the square socks. They are knitted from one of my mother-in-laws own recipe which I, unfortunately, don’t have.
